Senior Barista / All-Rounder – Fitzrovia, London
We’re a young, growing café in the heart of Fitzrovia serving nourishing, seasonal food and specialty coffee to our local community. Mornings are fast-paced with coffee runs and regulars who know their order before they walk through the door — so we’re looking for someone energetic, passionate, and confident behind the machine.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business at an early stage, help shape our coffee programme, and grow with us.
What You’ll Do
- Produce exceptional coffees quickly and consistently during busy morning rushes
- Create beautiful latte art and maintain high presentation standards
- Run V60s and support our growing specialty offering
- Provide warm, attentive table service to dine-in guests
- Engage with customers, build relationships, and create regulars
- Support lunch service (taking orders, running food, clearing tables)
- Participate in coffee runs for offices and businesses
- Maintain a clean, organised workstation and café floor
- Take ownership when the manager is away
You Are
- A morning person with high energy and a positive attitude
- Fast, precise, and calm under pressure
- Passionate about quality coffee and hospitality
- Clean, consistent, and detail-focused
- Confident in executing latte art
- Comfortable multitasking across barista work and service
- Reliable, proactive, and happy to take initiative
- A team player who cares about customer experience
Nice to Have
- Experience with filter brewing and V60 techniques
- Interest in guest roasters and coffee events
- Experience in a busy service environment
