Duties
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of menu items with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, plating, and garnishing to enhance visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Serve dishes efficiently while providing friendly and attentive customer service when interacting with guests
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing menu offerings
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment operation
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Prior experience in serving guests or customers is preferred but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
