An established adult residential service supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health needs is seeking a passionate and motivated Deputy Manager. The Role
As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance and staff performance are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the operational management of the service
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of support staff
- Ensuring person-centred support plans are implemented effectively
- Conducting audits, risk assessments and compliance checks
- Supporting safeguarding, health & safety and quality assurance processes
- Maintaining positive relationships with families, professionals and commissioners
- Assisting with recruitment, induction, supervision and training of staff
- Promoting a positive, supportive and inclusive culture within the service
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organisational standards
About You
To be successful, applicants should have:
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Senior Team Leader or Senior Support Worker within an adult care setting
- Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and/or Mental Health needs
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Knowledge of care regulations, audits, risk assessments and compliance processes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and support
A full UK driving licence is desirable.
