The Kings Wark is a busy, independent seafood-led restaurant with a reputation for warm, professional hospitality. We're looking for an experienced front of house professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences and thrives in a fast-paced fresh food-led environment.
This is a hands-on role within a small, knowledgeable team where the focus is firmly on hospitality rather than hierarchy. You'll be confident managing your own section, handling keyholder and cash-up responsibilities, understanding reservations and table management, and helping maintain the high standards our guests have come to expect. Previous management experience and wine knowledge are advantageous, but a genuine passion for hospitality is essential.
We offer a full-time position (35–45 hours), a 4-day working week, guaranteed minimum hours, flexible scheduling, a free staff meal on shift, and earnings of average £18–£22/hour including service charge (up to £14 base rate plus a share of 100% of service charge distributed to the team based on hours worked).
