We are seeking a dynamic and organized Office/Workplace Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office environment. Duties
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and functional workspace for all employees
- Manage office supplies inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships to maintain seamless supply chain flow
- Supervise administrative staff and coordinate team management activities to promote efficiency
- Handle human resources functions such as onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and supporting employee relations
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks or similar accounting software for expense tracking and reporting
- Develop and enforce office policies related to communication protocols, phone etiquette, and organizational procedures
- Coordinate facility maintenance requests and liaise with vendors to ensure the office environment remains optimal
- Support clerical tasks including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and preparing reports
Skills
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks for financial management and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively liaise with staff, vendors, and visitors
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated team management skills with experience supervising staff or coordinating team activities
- Knowledge of human resources practices including onboarding, employee relations, and policy enforcement
- Superior phone etiquette combined with professionalism in all interactions
- Experience in office or clerical environments with a focus on administrative excellence
Pay: £34,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
