Role Overview
We are seeking a driven, experienced, and strong Chef ready to step up and join our kitchen team as a Sous Chef. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional with a solid background in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen to transition into a pivotal management position.
As a Sous Chef, you will expand your skillset by taking on leadership responsibilities, contributing directly to menu development, and mastering the commercial aspects of running a successful kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- People Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to design and evolve innovative, fresh dishes, showcasing your culinary creativity.
- Stock & Inventory Control: Oversee routine ordering, manage inventory levels, and minimize wastage to maintain kitchen efficiency.
- Financial Performance: Understand, monitor, and directly impact the food Gross Profit (GP) margins through smart kitchen practices.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain exceptionally high standards of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen hygiene.

- Proven Kitchen Experience: A solid background working in a busy, high-quality restaurant kitchen.
- Leadership Ambition: Ready to step into a leadership role, manage people, and take ownership of daily kitchen operations.
