Kitchen Team Member
We're looking for a friendly, reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our busy pub kitchen in the heart of Oxford.
We pride ourselves on serving classic pub food, done well, alongside catering for a wide range of private events including birthdays, conferences, celebrations and corporate functions. No two days are the same, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied and fast-paced environment.
We're a supportive and welcoming team, and we're looking for someone who is a genuine team player with a positive attitude and a desire to learn. Previous kitchen experience is desirable, but not essential. The most important thing is that you're willing to learn, as full training will be provided.
What we're looking for
- A positive, hardworking attitude
- Someone who stays calm and organised under pressure
- A reliable team player with good communication skills
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- A commitment to keeping the kitchen clean, organised and operating to high food safety standards
- Availability to work weekends
Working hours
Shifts vary depending on business needs and typically start between 11:00am and 5:00pm. Weekend availability is essential.
What we offer
- Full training and ongoing support
- Company-funded Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification
- Opportunities for career progression
- The chance to work across several kitchens within our small group of Oxford pubs, gaining experience with different menus, chefs and ways of working
- A friendly, supportive working environment where your development is encouraged
Whether you're looking for weekend work alongside your studies or you're ready to take your first step towards a career as a chef, we'd love to hear from you.
