Bradbury’s Jewellers is a long-established, family-run independent jewellers in the heart of Halifax. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional customer service alongside a beautiful collection of fine jewellery, bespoke engagement rings, luxury watches, jewellery repairs and watch repairs.
We are looking for two friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Retail Sales Assistants to join our close-knit team.
The Role
This is a varied customer-facing role where no two days are the same. You’ll be welcoming customers into our showroom, helping them choose jewellery for life’s special moments, processing sales and assisting with the day-to-day running of the store.
Jewellery experience isn’t essential—we’re looking for the right personality and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional customer service.
- Assisting customers with jewellery and watch purchases.
- Processing sales and payments.
- Answering telephone and email enquiries.
- Booking in jewellery and watch repairs.
- Maintaining attractive window and in-store displays.
- Keeping the showroom clean, tidy and well presented.
- Assisting with stock management.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the business.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and professional.
- Honest, trustworthy and reliable.
- Confident communicating with customers.
- Well presented with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable using computers and till systems.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a small team.
- Willing to learn about jewellery, diamonds and watches.
Essential
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience.
- Saturday availability.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Desirable
- Jewellery or luxury retail experience
