JOB SUMMARY
We are currently looking to recruit a person who can deliver and collect audio-visual equipment.
The job entails delivering & collecting audio visual equipment and event scenery to and from our warehouse in Brixton SW2 to addresses mostly within the Greater London region.
You must have good knowledge of London and have the ability to use time effective routes and respond to often-changing schedules. You will assist in loading & unloading equipment adhering to Health & Safety guidelines. You will inspect and operate vehicles, allocate vehicle check paperwork, be responsible for cleaning the vehicles and report issues and damages following our administrative procedures.
A pleasant and helpful demeanour and tidy presentation is essential as you will interface with clients and the general public on a daily basis.
KEY DUTIES
· Safe loading, unloading and securing of equipment (this involves loading of including, but not limited to, flightcases, boxes and set pieces and panels, therefore previous experience is preferred however, full onsite training is available).
· The role will also include collecting and delivering sub hired equipment belonging to other suppliers.
· Good geographical knowledge of local area.
· Experience of daily vehicle checks.
· Neat and accurate completion of required paperwork.
· Maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle.
· Driving and checking the HGV and our other vehicles.

· Physically fit as position will require some manual handling.
· The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving experience in a similar environment, driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.
· Have the right to work and remain in the UK.
· A Clean UK class C or EU equivalent licence, driver CPC card and Digi-tacho card is essential.
· Flexibility on hours of work is required as standard due to the nature of the industry.
