Job Overview
- Position: Part-Time Wedding Coordinator
- Hourly Wage: £15.00 per hour
- Hours: 2 to 3 days per week (includes weekends and evenings)
- Location: South Causey Inn, Stanley, County Durham
- Closing Date: Applications close in 1 week
Key Responsibilities
You will take complete ownership of the wedding day, coordinating every detail from the morning preparations until the evening celebrations conclude:
- The Ceremony: Managing guest arrivals and running the formal wedding ceremony seamlessly.
- Reception Service: Coordinating welcome drinks and canapé service with precision.
- Media Collaboration: Working alongside photographers and videographers to keep the day on schedule.
- Food & Beverage: Managing high-quality food and drink service throughout the wedding breakfast.
- Venue Turn-Around: Leading the transition of the function room for the evening reception.
- Evening Highlights: Ensuring the cake cut, first dance, and evening buffet run smoothly.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Proven wedding coordinator experience is essential for this role.
- Hospitality Background: Must have strong, hands-on floor and bar experience.
- Attributes: Excellent communication, exceptional organisation, and a calm approach under pressure.
- Flexibility: Ability to work varied shifts, specifically focusing on peak wedding days (weekends and holidays).
