Gray + Press has experienced significant growth and is seeking a Manager / Senior Manager to join our expanding team. Based near Belfast's Titanic Quarter, we provide accounting, compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of businesses, companies and high-net-worth individuals. Our key sector is scaling businesses.
This role is ideally suited to a qualified Chartered Accountant looking to take ownership and responsibility of the tax function, manage a growing team and play a key role in the continued development of the firm. The position offers significant client interaction, leadership responsibility and opportunities for progression within a supportive and ambitious practice.

Key Duties
- Working closely with partners and managing the tax function
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and developing long-term relationships.
- Managing workflow, deadlines and compliance processes across the tax function.
- Supporting and mentoring junior and part-qualified team members.
- Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing technical guidance.
- Providing excellent client care
- Working closely with the partners and willing to lead on business development and client service initiatives.
- Managing ad hoc tax projects and business advisory
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Strong experience within a UK accountancy practice environment
- Strong interest in tax, with a desire to continue developing in these areas and complete their CTA’s.
- Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality service.
- Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop team members.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
