About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and ensure the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and service. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a busy kitchen and is passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team during service.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes to company standards.
- Develop and update menus in collaboration with management.
- Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships.
- Control food costs and minimise waste.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety regulations.
- Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff.
- Create staff rotas and manage kitchen scheduling.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen.
- Work closely with management to improve kitchen performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Experience with stock control, ordering, and food cost management.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Schedule
- Full-time
- 45–48 hours per week
- 8–12 hour shifts
- Day, evening, weekend, and holiday availability
