The Social Care & Voluntary Sector Curriculum Alignment & Placement Coordinator will play a pivotal role in strengthening relationships between the University and social care, community, and voluntary sector organisations. Working collaboratively with academic teams, placement providers, educators, supervisors, and learners, the post-holder will help create high-quality practice learning opportunities that prepare future professionals to meet the changing needs of individuals and communities.
The role focuses on developing and coordinating placement opportunities, promoting innovative interprofessional learning, and ensuring that social care and voluntary sector perspectives are embedded throughout academic programmes. In addition, the coordinator will support the development of educators, assessors, and supervisors, champion quality assurance and student support, and contribute to research, scholarship, and service improvement activities that enhance practice learning environments.
