Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are healthy, vibrant, and visually appealing. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in horticulture and landscape maintenance to develop their skills within a supportive environment. The successful applicant will be involved in a variety of gardening tasks, working outdoors in all weather conditions to create beautiful and sustainable landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Utilise hand tools and power tools to plant, prune, and maintain gardens and landscaped areas
- Conduct regular landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, fertilising, and weed control
- Assist with planting new flora, shrubs, trees, and seasonal displays
- Monitor plant health and identify signs of pests or diseases
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by removing debris and ensuring tools are properly stored after use
- Follow safety procedures when operating equipment.
- Interacting with customers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina to perform manual tasks
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining garden aesthetics
- A genuine interest in gardening and landscape design with a desire to learn more about horticulture practices.
- Full driving licence.

As this is a self-employed position we required the correct candidate to have public liability insurance.
Pay: £13.00-£18.00 per hour
