Jephsons Shopfitters is a leading employee-owned shopfitting and interior fit-out contractor, delivering projects for some of the UK's most recognised brands, including Costa Coffee, KFC, Taco Bell, Pret A Manger and Starbucks, to name just a few.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Builder / Multi-Skilled Operative to join our team.
This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone with strong building experience who enjoys working on different projects and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.
The Role
Working as part of our project delivery team, you'll carry out a range of building and maintenance works on commercial and retail projects throughout the UK.
Your duties will include:
- Drainage installations and repairs.
- Groundworks and excavation.
- Installing concrete pads and small foundations.
- Cutting apertures in brick and block walls.
- Installing lintels and carrying out structural alterations.
- Removing walls and completing associated making-good works.
- Minor brickwork, blockwork, and general building works.
- Assisting with rip-outs and strip-out works during refurbishment projects.
- Minor decorating and finishing works where required.
- Deliveries and collections of materials, tools, and equipment.
- General site support and assisting other trades as needed.
About You
- Experience in general building, groundworks, or construction.
- Confident carrying out drainage, concrete, and structural alteration works.
- Able to work from drawings and specifications.
- Reliable, hard-working, and safety conscious.
- Willing to travel and occasionally stay away when required.
- A team player with a flexible approach to work.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- CSCS Card.
- Experience within shopfitting, fit-out, or refurbishment projects.
- Plant, first aid, or relevant construction qualifications.
