Responsibilities
Assist in food and meal preparation to ensure timely and efficient service during busy periods.
Support the kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and equipment.
Help with food safety procedures, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices.
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, peeling, and portioning as directed by chefs or supervisors.
Assist in serving food to guests or customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Support catering events by setting up serving stations and replenishing food as needed.
Skills
Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices.
Basic cooking skills with an interest in developing culinary expertise.
Experience with meal preparation and food presentation techniques.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
