We are looking for an Audit Manager to join a highly progressive firm of Accountants. You will take ownership of a portfolio of audit clients, planning and managing engagements, and delivering high-quality audit and assurance work. You'll work closely with Partners, review junior staff work, and build strong client relationships across a variety of industries.

Description
The successful Audit Manager will plan, and manage audits for a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and providing value-added recommendations.
Audit Manager key responsibilities include:
*Attending client meetings and speaking to potential clients regaridng our business and services
* Planning and managing audit engagements from start to finish
* Preparing statutory accounts and supporting audit reports
* Reviewing and mentoring senior and junior staff
* Communicating with clients regarding audit findings and recommendations
* Ensuring compliance with accounting and audit standards
* Using software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and IRIS
* Assisting with ad-hoc assurance or advisory projects
Profile
A successful Audit Manager will have:
* Fully qualified ACA / ACCA status (or equivalent experience)
* Minimum 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice environment
* Strong technical grounding in audit and assurance standards
* Excellent communication and client management skills
* A proactive, reliable approach and attention to detail
* A team-oriented attitude and commitment to client service
* Able to commute to Bristol
