Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Baby room lead to join our team in our new nursery in Newport, Telford. This vital role involves guiding our nursery team and ensuring the delivery of exceptional care for our youngest children. Join us in making a positive impact on children's early development within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the baby room teams to ensure high standards of care and education.
- Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to infants' developmental needs.
- Support the professional development of nursery staff through mentoring and training.
- Maintain effective communication with parents to foster trust and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and safeguarding policies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of nursery practices.
- Assist in the assessment and documentation of children's progress.
- Promote a warm, caring, and inclusive environment for children and staff.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience working with babies in a nursery or early childhood setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Relevant childcare qualifications ( Level 3 Childcare qualification or higher).
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health & safety regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Enthusiasm for supporting children's development.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the nursery environment.

Pay: £34,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
