Stantec is looking for a Transport Planner to join our growing Transport Planning team in our London office. As we continue to expand our presence across Greater London, you'll support a diverse portfolio of developer, local authority and infrastructure clients, helping to deliver projects that shape communities across the UK.
Based in our Tottenham Street office , you'll work on a wide range of schemes including residential-led developments, commercial and industrial projects, public sector studies, and major infrastructure and energy projects.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll support the delivery of high-quality transport planning solutions across a variety of projects.
You will:
- Prepare Transport Assessments, Environmental Statements, Construction Traffic Management Plans, Travel Plans and other transport planning documents.
- Undertake transport studies, technical analysis and support junction modelling work.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities and project teams.
- Support project delivery, financial management and programme coordination.
- Contribute to business development activities where appropriate.

Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll help deliver innovative solutions while continuing to develop your technical and professional skills.
ABOUT YOU
You'll have:
- A degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Engineering or a related discipline.
- A good understanding of the UK planning system, ideally within the London development environment.
- Experience preparing Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and other transport planning documents.
- Experience with transport analysis, junction modelling and relevant software.
- Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.
- A professional qualification (or working towards one), such as TPP, is desirable.
