Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic financial team. In this role, you will support the daily accounting operations, assist with financial reporting, and ensure the accuracy of financial data across various accounting platforms. Duties
- Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly to maintain accurate financial records.
- Enter and update data in various accounting systems, ensuring completeness and correctness of information.
- Collaborate with senior accountants on month-end closing activities and audit preparations.
- Help monitor cash flow and assist in financial management tasks to support organizational budgeting efforts.
- Provide mentorship to new team members or interns, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience or internship in accounting or finance is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn new technologies related to financial management.

Pay: £25,420.00-£48,406.01 per year
