Overview
We are seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer to join our Paint team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to various surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets company standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of painting techniques. The position is full-time and involves working in a dynamic environment where safety and precision are paramount.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
- Mix paints and coatings to specified colours and consistencies
- Operate spray guns, brushes, rollers, and other hand tools to apply paint evenly across surfaces
- Use power tools for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Ensure all painted surfaces meet quality standards through inspection and touch-ups
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow health and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist with surface preparation tasks involving heavy lifting when required
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations
Experience
- Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer or in a similar role within woodworking environment
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to handling spray equipment and power tools
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, sanders, and masking devices
- Experience operating power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for colour consistency and surface finish quality
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to painting activities

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
