Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Assist in setting up tables, organising reservations, and managing guest flow during busy periods
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality customer service
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in serving or bartending roles, is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Familiarity with serving procedures and alcohol regulations is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables or orders simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Good basic maths skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
