About Early Years PE
Early Years PE delivers specialist sports and physical education sessions to children aged 1–5 years in nurseries across Surrey, South West London.
Our sessions use imaginative play, storytelling and age-appropriate sports activities to develop:
- Physical literacy
- Confidence
- Communication skills
- Teamwork
- Coordination
- A lifelong love of physical activity
Every session is fully planned, and all equipment is provided.
The Role
You'll travel to nursery settings to deliver engaging sports sessions for children aged 1–5 years.
You'll be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality sports and PE sessions.
- Creating a fun, inclusive and safe learning environment.
- Building positive relationships with nursery staff and children.
- Encouraging participation and developing children's confidence.
- Representing Early Years PE professionally at all times.
No planning is required—our coaching programme, equipment and training are all provided.
What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Own vehicle.
- Able to travel between Wimbledon, Surbiton, West Molesey, Teddington.
- Experience working with children (paid or voluntary).
- Available during school half terms.
- Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (or already hold one).
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Sports Coaching qualification.
- PE or Sports Science degree.
- Childcare or Education qualification.
- Teaching Assistant experience.
- Nursery or Primary School experience.
- First Aid qualification.
