We are now seeking an ambitious and highly organised Membership & Community Executive to help build and grow what we believe could become one of the UK’s most valuable information and intelligence communities for aspiring models, fashion enthusiasts and consumers seeking practical information, advice and opportunities.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is not simply a newsletter role.
You will be responsible for helping create, manage and grow the Streetwise Report & Members Intelligence Centre.
You will become one of the key people responsible for engaging members, producing content, building relationships and helping grow a thriving membership community.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and will have the opportunity to play a major role in the future development of the division.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Membership Report Production
- Design and produce the monthly Streetwise Report
- Ensure every edition is professional, engaging and packed with useful content
- Coordinate contributions from internal and external sources
- Manage report schedules and publication deadlines
- Help develop new report sections and member benefits
Membership Intelligence Centre
- Manage member enquiries
- Respond to member questions relating to modelling and fashion
- Escalate specialist questions where appropriate
- Ensure members receive prompt and professional responses
Social Media Management
- Create and manage dedicated social media channels for the Streetwise Report
- Create engaging content
- Increase awareness of the membership programme
- Drive new member registrations
- Work alongside ModelWise Network, Streetwise Tips and FashMod Podcast teams
Agency Relationship Development
- Contact reputable model agencies throughout the UK
- Introduce The Streetwise Intelligence Group and ModelWise Network
- Develop professional relationships
- Assist in building our Recommended Agency Directory
- Explore partnership opportunities
National Photographer Network Development
- Contact photographers across the UK
- Introduce the ModelWise Network
- Assist with photographer onboarding enquiries
- Help expand national coverage
- Maintain accurate records and communications
Membership Growth
- Help grow membership numbers
- Develop ideas to improve member retention
- Assist with promotional campaigns
- Help improve the overall member experience
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Excellent written English
- Strong communication skills
- Confident speaking with businesses and professionals
- Social media experience
- Good organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using technology and online systems
- Creative mindset
- Professional telephone manner
ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT WOULD BE WELCOME (BUT ARE NOT ESSENTIAL)
Whilst not required, experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial:
- Newsletter design
- Graphic design
- Canva
- Mailchimp
- Email marketing
- Membership communities
- Fashion or modelling industry knowledge
- Journalism
- Media
- Publishing
- Content creation
- CRM systems
- Customer service
- Community management
- Digital marketing
However, applicants do not need experience in all or any of the above areas.
We are primarily looking for somebody with strong communication skills, excellent organisational ability, a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help build and grow the Streetwise Report & Members Intelligence Centre.
