About the Role
An inclusive and dynamic all-through school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our supportive team. In this vital support role, you will maintain high standards of learning and behaviour across the school during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will supervise classrooms, ensure pupils remain engaged with set work, and support student progress. Additionally, you will contribute to the school community by participating in the break and lunchtime duty rota’s, helping to maintain a positive, respectful, and purposeful learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes across the school during teacher absences.
- Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain focused and engaged.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a safe, respectful environment.
- Support students with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties.
- Participate in duties, contributing to the break and lunchtime supervision rota.
About You
The successful candidate will be a confident, organised communicator who genuinely enjoys working with young people. While previous experience supporting children with SEND within a primary, secondary, or specialist setting is highly desirable, we also welcome applications from individuals with strong transferable skills and a passion for education.
