Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various premises, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable, though full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
Clean and service guest rooms to hotel standards, including making beds, changing linens, replenishing amenities, cleaning bathrooms, and ensuring rooms are presented to a high standard.
Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and consumables as necessary.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly and maintained in good condition.
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines.
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment.
Organise cleaning schedules efficiently to meet deadlines and operational requirements.
Experience
Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
Experience cleaning and preparing guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards is desirable.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Good attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to delivering excellent housekeeping standards are essential qualities for success in this role.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
