TD Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver (C1) to join our client busy groundworks team working on council and road maintenance contracts in Bristol.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who is happy to combine driving duties with on-site work as part of a small, reactive crew.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving a 7.5 tonne rigid vehicle (tipper, hotbox, grab or beavertail)
- Transporting materials such as tarmac, asphalt, aggregates, and waste
- Towing small plant (e.g. mini diggers or rollers) where required
- Supporting pothole repairs and general road maintenance works
- Assisting the team with loading/unloading and on-site tasks
- Attending reactive jobs including potholes, kerbs, and carriageway defects
Requirements:
- Valid Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience in highways, groundworks, or similar environments preferred
- Willingness to work as part of a team and undertake physical duties
- Additional tickets (e.g. CSCS, NRSWA) are advantageous
The Role:
