Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional full-time Waitress/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional guest service and have experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders efficiently and courteously
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Provide excellent guest service by attending to customer needs and resolving any issues promptly
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, maintaining cleanliness in the service area
- Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills
- Handle payments accurately using the POS system and provide correct change or receipts
- Maintain a clean, organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise revenue
- A professional appearance with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
