Tyrrells Wood Golf Club is currently recruiting a Course Marshall, who will provide the on course operational support, to facilitate play across the golf course.
The role will ensure the rules and etiquette of the game are upheld in relation to the expectations of the Club in relation to the R&A rules of golf.
As the point of contact for golfers during play, the marshal has an important connection to on course safety, in ensuring the players are using the course correctly and acting responsibly. The marshal will ensure the dress code is followed by golfers both at the starting point and during play.
The role may encounter first responder requirements for first aid and respond in accordance with the Clubs procedures for first response.
The Course Marshal will interact with Members and their guests on a regular basis and should be able to communicate requirements, set expectations and report back to the Club professionally to ensure awareness of on course situations.
