Jes Dental Studio is a modern, fully private dental practice in the heart of Chislehurst, just a short walk from Chislehurst train station. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, personalised dental care in a friendly, welcoming environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable Dental Hygienist to join our growing team for one day per week, with the potential for additional days in the future as the patient base grows.
The Role
You will be providing comprehensive hygiene and preventive dental care to our private patient base, with a strong focus on periodontal health, prevention and patient education.
The role would suit a hygienist who enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and takes pride in providing a high standard of clinical care.
Key responsibilities
- Providing routine dental hygiene appointments, including scaling and stain removal
- Airflow / guided biofilm therapy where appropriate
- Periodontal assessment and maintenance
- Providing personalised oral hygiene advice and tailored prevention plans
- Supporting patients with periodontal disease and ongoing periodontal maintenance
- Educating patients on effective home care and prevention
- Working closely with the dentist and wider dental team
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive clinical records
- Providing a friendly, professional and patient-centred experience
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- GDC registered and fully compliant with CPD requirements
- Experienced in private practice, ideally
- Passionate about preventive and periodontal care
- Confident and professional with excellent communication skills
- Friendly, approachable and able to build rapport with patients
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Committed to providing excellent patient care and clinical standards
