We are looking for a Yard Operative to join our team in order to keep up with our ever expanding business!
Here at 5 Star Loos we are looking for a Yard Operative to fit into our fast paced environment who is able to be both self motivated when working alone and able to work as part of a team when all hands are on deck.
This role will be working out of our yard in Northamptonshire, near Rothersthorpe Village
Job Title: Yard Operative
Pay/Hours: £14 an hour. Mon-Fri 8-5 (1 hour unpaid lunch) with the opportunity of overtime during both weekdays and weekends
Job Role/Description: The main duty of our Yard Operative is to “turn around” kit when it comes back from a job. This includes washing out waste tanks on units, single plastic toilets etc. This will also include moving kit around our yard with a forklift using both the traditional forks (for single toilets) and a ball hitch (for the trailers). Additional key duties will also include, loading and unloading vehicles/trailers, assisting other staff in the yard such as cleaners and keeping the yard itself in a neat, tidy and operational manner.
Experience: Previous experience of roles similar to a Yard Operative are preferred but not essential as full training will be given. Previous forklift experience is preferred. Ideally the candidate will also have a valid driving license, however this is not essential.
