About the role
We’re a small live event production agency looking for a Trainee Production Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on, entry-level role where you’ll learn by doing and gain experience across all aspects of live production.
You’ll support projects from early planning through to on-site delivery, working closely with experienced producers and directors in a fast-paced environment. Because we’re a small team, you’ll gain broad exposure to all areas of production, with a clear opportunity for the right candidate to develop into a Producer role over time.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting live projects from concept to delivery
- Preparing show paperwork and event materials
- Coordinating freelance crew bookings
- Communicating with suppliers, venues and clients
- Keeping timelines and to-do lists on track
- Supporting on-site delivery (as required)
- Helping with post-event wrap-up and follow-up
- Assisting with schedules, running orders, production documents, and risk assessments (RAMS)
What we’re looking for
- Highly organised, proactive and reliable
- Calm under pressure and comfortable juggling tasks
- Clear communicator
- Confident using Word, Excel and Outlook
- Keen to learn and build a career in live events
- Based within commuting distance of Central London
- Willing to work on site at events
No experience is required - attitude and willingness to learn matter most.

The setup
- Mitcham-based with strong transport links (rail and tram), including 20 minutes to London Victoria and 35 minutes to Kings Cross)
- Occasional early starts, late finishes and weekends (events don’t do 9 - 5)
