Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Multi Drop Delivery Driver / Factory Operative to join our team. This role involves delivering goods efficiently across various locations throughout the South West while also supporting factory operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience in warehouse environments, and excellent communication abilities.
This position is a 2am start Tuesday - Saturday with a 9.30am start on a Monday.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to complete multiple drop-offs across designated routes within scheduled timeframes
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care and stored securely
- Assist with factory duties such as packing, and general warehouse tasks as required
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered
- Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure safety standards are maintained and report any defects promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle inside and out
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations during both delivery and factory operations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role, preferably with multi-drop experience
- Valid Full UK driving licence (held minimum for 1 year)
- No more than 3 points
- Experience in commercial driving and warehouse operations is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple deliveries
- Physically fit (manual handling involved)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
