We are looking for an experienced and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team at El Bareto, a traditional Spanish tapas restaurant in Leeds.
We are looking for someone with kitchen experience and a good knowledge of Spanish food and tapas.
Main duties:
- Working on the fryer during service.
- Assisting with oven dishes.
- Preparing and plating cold dishes and tapas.
- Helping with food preparation before service.
- Supporting the chef during busy periods.
- Keeping the kitchen and work areas clean and organised.
- Following food hygiene and safety standards.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen.
- Knowledge of Spanish food is highly preferred.

- Comfortable working with the fryer and oven.
- Able to prepare and plate cold dishes.
- Reliable, organised and able to work well under pressure.
- Good team player.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
