Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or cooks.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitised after use.
- Help with the storage of food items and supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance as needed.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen management promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or culinary setting is advantageous but not essential.
