Forest Healthcare, a leading care provider operating across South-East England, is looking for a Care Home Manager for one of our nursing homes in Islington, North London.

Essential criteria
- Previous managerial experience in a nursing home or similar setting
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Practical knowledge of auditing and care planning for residents with complex nursing and dementia needs
- Confident overseeing clinical governance, including medicines management, wound care, falls, nutrition and infection prevention
- Experience of working with commissioners, GPs, district nursing teams and other health professionals
- Ability to manage the home's budget, occupancy and financial performance
- Ability to influence and motivate others, and to work as part of a wider team
- A thorough understanding of CQC regulations and the skills to make sure standards are met and maintained
- Results focused, with an understanding of the commercial side of a manager's role
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or working towards it
- Registered with CQC as a Registered Manager, or willing to register
Desirable
- Registered Nurse with a current NMC PIN and no restrictions on practice.
