Domestic Gas Engineer – Shaftesbury
My client is looking for an experienced Commercial Gas, Oil & Domestic Gas Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs, and installations across a range of commercial and domestic heating systems while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, repair, and install commercial and domestic gas and oil heating systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
- Complete planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs
- Carry out gas safety inspections and boiler servicing
- Ensure all work complies with current regulations
- Complete job reports and certification accurately
- Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota
Essential Requirements:
- Commercial Gas qualifications (CODNCO1 or equivalent)
- Domestic Gas qualifications (CCN1 and relevant appliances)
- OFTEC qualification (preferred or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience with commercial and domestic heating systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
