Pay Range: £95 – £130 per day (based on experience)

ANZUK Education is seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants for full-time, 1:1 support roles across Birmingham schools.
If you have strong experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, behavioural challenges, and complex needs, this is an opportunity to work in consistent, long-term placements where your expertise will have real impact.
Key Responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, behavioural needs, and complex learning needs
- Implement and follow EHCPs, behaviour plans, and personalised strategies
- Use effective techniques to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Build strong, consistent relationships to support engagement and progress
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Accurately record observations and contribute to pupil development
- Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality and health & safety procedures at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have proven experience in 1:1 SEN support roles
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of: ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), ADHD, Behavioural needs, Complex additional needs
- Be available for full-time work
- Be calm, patient, and resilient with strong behaviour management skills
- Be confident working independently in a 1:1 setting
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
