West Coast MEP are looking for experienced electrician mates to join the company.
We are seeking a motivated Electricians mate to join our team. The Electrician mate will work under the supervision of experienced electricians and assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in various residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have some experience in electrical work and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in accordance with safety protocols and electrical codes.
- Assist with running wires, pulling cables, and installing electrical components.
- Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems.
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Learn and apply new electrical skills under the guidance of experienced electricians.
- Keep tools and equipment organized and in good working order.
Requirements:
- GCSC or equivalent.
- Some experience in electrical work preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good English-speaking skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Be punctual and have good timekeeping.
- Can take instruction and effectively carry out tasks.
- Willingness to learn and take instruction.
