Part-Time Pub Supervisor – The Cherington
Location: The Cherington, Cherington, Warwickshire
Pay: £15.00–£16.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Part-time – primarily midweek evenings, with some weekend availability required
We’re looking for a reliable, confident and friendly Part-Time Supervisor to join the team at The Cherington.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with hospitality experience who enjoys being on the floor, looking after guests and helping a shift run smoothly. We’re not looking for someone to stand back and simply “manage” – you’ll be working alongside the team and leading by example.
The role
You’ll be responsible for helping run shifts at the pub, including:
- Leading and supporting the front-of-house team during service
- Ensuring guests receive friendly, efficient and attentive service
- Running the bar and restaurant confidently during quieter midweek shifts
- Opening and closing the pub when required
- Cash handling and end-of-shift procedures
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Dealing confidently and professionally with any issues that arise
- Supporting management with the general day-to-day running of the pub
Who we’re looking for
Ideally, you’ll already have experience working in a pub, bar or restaurant, with some supervisory or shift-leading experience.
More importantly, we’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Confident taking responsibility for a shift
- Friendly, personable and great with customers
- Calm and organised when it gets busy
- Happy to get stuck in and work alongside the team
- Able to work primarily midweek evenings, with flexibility for some weekend shifts
