What are we looking for?
We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Property Services Officer to join our Property Services Team. You will play a key role in ensuring our tenants receive an effective and responsive repairs service by coordinating, monitoring, and administering day-to-day repairs and maintenance activities.
What does this rewarding role involve?
✅ Administering day-to-day repairs from initial report through to completion.
✅ Raising repair orders and allocating work to contractors and operatives.
✅ Monitoring repair progress and ensuring works are completed within agreed timescales.
✅ Providing excellent customer service and being a first point of contact for tenants reporting repairs.
✅ Liaising effectively with contractors, tenants, colleagues, and external agencies.
✅ Maintaining accurate property, repairs, and contractor records.
✅ Assisting with compliance and planned maintenance administration when required.
✅ Monitoring contractor performance and escalating issues where necessary.
✅ Processing invoices and ensuring repairs expenditure is recorded accurately.
✅ Supporting the Property Services Team in delivering safe, well-maintained homes.
About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent services to tenants and who can help ensure our homes are maintained to a high standard.
You will:
- Have experience in an a repairs administrative role, ideally within housing, property or maintenance.
- Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Have strong IT skills and experience using databases and Microsoft Office applications.
- Be able to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Be confident working independently and as part of a team.
- Be proactive, solution-focused, and able to build positive working relationships.
- Have an understanding of responsive repairs processes (desirable but not essential).
