Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying plaster and related materials to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes in both domestic and commercial projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction trades to utilise their expertise and contribute to diverse building projects. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of plastering techniques, as well as complementary skills in masonry, carpentry, and the use of hand and power tools. Experience with schematics, construction painting, and fabrication is advantageous. All positions are paid, including internships, and we welcome applicants eager to develop their skills within a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces , and applying necessary primers+ Top coat plastering.
- Mix plaster materials accurately according to project specifications.
- Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using trowels, hawks, and other hand tools to achieve smooth finishes.
- Utilise power tools safely for mixing and surface preparation tasks.
- Insulatoon, PlasterBoarding& Dry Lining
- Collaborate with team members on site to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.
- Read schematics and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Assist with related tasks such as masonry, carpentry, or construction painting when needed.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organising tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plastering or related construction trades such as masonry or carpentry.
- Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, and fabrication is desirable but not essential.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction work.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Previous experience with construction painting or masonry will be considered an advantage.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction trades are preferred but not mandatory.
