Birchwood children's services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced School Administrator to join our dynamic team.
Location: Warrington, WA3
Hours: Full time/Term time
Salary: £21,000 per annum

About the Role:
Administrative & Office Management
- Manage school operations, including reception, phone calls, emails, and visitor inquiries.
- Maintain student records, staff files, attendance data, and confidential documents.
- Prepare and distribute letters, notices, reports, and other communication materials.
- Organise school calendars, schedules, and appointments.
Student & Parent Support
- Assist with admissions, enrolment, and withdrawal processes.
- Support parents with queries regarding school policies, events, and student information.
- Help manage student transport schedules, lunch programs, or extracurricular activities.
Staff Support
- Provide administrative support to teachers and school leadership.
- Assist with preparation of meetings, minutes, and documentation.
- Coordinate training sessions, and professional development activities.
School Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with school policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee facility maintenance requests and liaise with vendors or service providers.
We are looking for
- Proven experience in office administration, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, Google Workspace, student management systems).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle confidential information responsibly.
- Patience, professionalism, and a positive attitude when working with students, staff, and parents.
