Loft and Ladder is seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting prospective customers in their homes, assessing their loft storage requirements, providing expert advice on suitable solutions, and generating sales opportunities.
The role is focused on building customer confidence, delivering accurate quotations, and converting enquiries into sales whilst maintaining the high standards of customer service for which Loft and Ladder is known.
Responsibilities
- Attend pre-arranged customer appointments within customers' homes.
- Assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate loft storage solutions.
- Conduct site surveys and obtain accurate measurements.
- Prepare and present quotations for loft boarding, loft ladders, insulation, hatches, shelving, and related products.
- Explain product features, benefits, and installation processes clearly and professionally.
- Build strong relationships with customers and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Follow up quotations and enquiries to maximise conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate customer records using the company's CRM system.
- Liaise closely with the installation team to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services.
- Represent the company professionally and act as a brand ambassador at all times.
- Keep up to date with company products, industry developments, and competitor offerings.
Skills
- Proven sales experience, preferably within home improvements, construction, property services, or a similar industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly with customers.
- Self-motivated and target driven.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Effective time management to meet deadlines and achieve sales goals consistently
Pay: £25,450.00-£27,100.00 per year
