Job Title: Regional Operations Care Manager
Location: North- Travel Needed
Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 per annum + car allowance + 45p per mile mileage reimbursement
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Operations Care Manager to oversee a portfolio of 9 care homes across the North West and North East of England. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance, operational performance, and staff development across multiple sites.

You are a proactive and resilient leader with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You thrive in a multi-site role, are comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands-on support, and have a proven track record of improving service quality and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across all assigned care homes
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with regulatory standards
- Monitor and improve performance metrics including occupancy, staffing, budgets, and quality ratings
- Support Home Managers in achieving compliance with CQC standards and internal policies
- Conduct regular site visits, audits, and performance reviews
- Lead on action plans following inspections, audits, or incidents
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the region
- Manage budgets and ensure financial efficiency across services
- Recruit, mentor, and develop Home Managers and senior staff
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders including families, local authorities, and healthcare professionals
- Ensure effective safeguarding practices are in place and adhered to
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Regional Operations Manager (or equivalent multi-site leadership role) within the care sector
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple services and drive performance improvement
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and KPIs
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the region
