Junior Project Engineer (LEV Systems)
Location: Northamptonshire with travel to customer sites across the UK
Working Pattern: Full-time, office and site-based (this is not a hybrid or remote role)
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 / Annum (depending on experience).

As our business continues to grow, we are looking to recruit a motivated Graduate/Junior Project Engineer, who wants to grow, who is eager to develop their career within the LEV industry and play an important role in our future success.
The Role
We're looking for a Junior Project Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who has gained practical experience working with LEV systems or at a minimum has had experience with mechanical equipment and is ready to take the next step in their career.
You'll work alongside experienced Project Engineers, learning every aspect of project delivery while taking on increasing responsibility as your knowledge and confidence grow. We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, eager to learn and wants to develop into a key member of our team for the long term.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning, coordination and delivery of LEV installation projects from start to completion.
- Carry out site visits and site surveys to support project planning and delivery.
- Support the preparation of project documentation, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and Health & Safety documentation.
- Coordinate labour, materials, plant and equipment to ensure projects run efficiently.
- Work closely with installation teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely on time and to the required standard.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Monitor project progress and provide updates to the Directors.
- Provide technical support to installation and service teams.
- Attend project meetings and liaise with customers on site when required.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, representing the company to the highest standard on site
- Assist with project commissioning, snagging and final handovers.
- Travel to customer sites throughout the UK as required.
About You
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, practical and keen to build a long-term career in project engineering.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Engineering bias, Higher National Diploma (HND) / Degree (BEng/Bsc)
- Experience servicing, installing or maintaining LEV systems.
- A good understanding of LEV principles and workplace extraction systems.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to read technical drawings and specifications (desirable).
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A full UK driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications
- BOHS P601, P602, P603, P604 or equivalent.
- Engineering or mechanical qualification (NVQ, HNC/HND, Degree or similar).
- CSCS card.
- SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable but not essential).
