JOB SUMMARY
As a Construction Tutor in Lincolnshire, you will teach adults the site safety, tools, materials and trade practice needed for a recognised qualification. Your training moves people into work in the trades.
If you know construction or the trades and want to open the sector up to people who would not otherwise get in, this role gives you that platform.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver the core construction knowledge and site practice behind the qualification. You will cover health and safety through to trade specific skills.
- Teach safeguarding, GDPR and health and safety compliance alongside the trade content. Safe working practice becomes second nature.
- Build the practical skills employers are asking for. Learners finish ready for the demands of a construction role.
- Assess starting points and track progress through individual learning plans. You will keep learner records accurate and compliant.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Industry background in construction, trades or a related built environment field.
- Sound knowledge of CITB and CSCS standards and current site health and safety requirements.
- Teaching qualification, Level 3 or above.
- Understanding of safeguarding, GDPR and health and safety compliance.
