Clive Cowern Transport is a family-run haulage business based in Bridgnorth. We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 ADR Driver to join our specialist gas and tanker operation.
This is a responsible and safety-critical role involving the transportation of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) using MEGC trailers, alongside non-ADR tanker work delivering digestate to farms.
The Role
- CNG deliveries using specialist MEGC trailers.
- Non-ADR tanker work delivering digestate to agricultural sites.
- Carrying out vehicle, trailer and safety checks.
- Operating specialist equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Completing delivery paperwork
- Working closely with the transport office and customers.
- Maintaining high standards of safety, vehicle presentation and customer service.
What We're Looking For
- Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- ADR qualifications covering the required gas and tank/MEGC categories.
- Previous CNG, MEGC or tanker experience is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours, Working Time and transport compliance.
- Professional, reliable and safety-focused approach.
- Good UK geographical knowledge.
This is a specialist role and the correct ADR qualifications for gas and tank/MEGC operations are essential.
