A dedicated and experienced Kennel Assistant is required to join our Kennel Team. This is a permanent, full-time position, based on a four-week rolling rota, requiring weekend working. The hours are 8am-5pm with 21 working days in each 28 day pay period.
Must have an affinity with and an in depth understanding of dogs in particular. Experience preferred but full training is given in feeding, cleaning and welfare.
This position entails caring for a large number of rescued dogs, equines, goats and a variety of small animals, and applicants need to embrace this in a vocational capacity. Experience with horses is an advantage.
Due to our rural location in Hadlow Down (near Uckfield, East Sussex), applicants must be able to drive and have access to their own transport.
