Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes with precision, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Manage the entire grilling process, from marinating and seasoning to cooking times and temperature control
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, adhering strictly to food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for various menu items
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service
- Serve dishes promptly while maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and customer satisfaction
Experience
- Proven experience as a Grill Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and grilling equipment operation
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a commercial kitchen environment
- Previous experience in meal preparation for diverse menus, demonstrating versatility in cooking styles
- Excellent understanding of kitchen workflows, time management, and teamwork dynamics
- Serving experience is a plus, highlighting your ability to engage positively with guests and ensure their dining satisfaction
